Job Summary

Aasraa Trust is looking for dedicated and passionate Part-Time Teachers to teach senior classes (5th to 12th) at a Government School in Govindgarh, Dehradun. The role involves delivering subject-specific instruction while supporting students’ academic growth in a structured and nurturing environment.

Subjects Required

• Chemistry Teacher (Senior Classes)
• Economics & Accounts Teacher (Senior Classes)

Key Responsibilities

• Teach assigned subject(s) to students from Classes 11th to 12th
• Prepare lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum
• Explain concepts in a simple, student-friendly manner
• Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and class participation
• Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment
• Coordinate with Aasraa Trust and school staff as required
• Support students with academic doubts and learning challenges

Working Hours

Part-Time Role

• Summer Schedule:
• Class Timing: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM
• Winter Schedule
• Class Timing: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry / Economics / Commerce / Accounts or related field
• Teaching experience (school or coaching experience preferred)
• Good subject knowledge and communication skills
• Ability to work with children from diverse and underprivileged backgrounds
• Commitment to education and social impact

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience teaching senior secondary students
• Patience, empathy, and strong classroom management skills
• Ability to simplify complex concepts

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹6,500.00 - ₹7,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No more than 10 per week
