Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) specializing in Pan Asian cuisine to join our culinary team. As a CDP, you will be responsible for running a specific section of the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene. You must have a deep understanding of ingredients, techniques, and flavor profiles from Asian cuisines such as Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Korean, Vietnamese, and Malaysian.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook authentic Pan Asian dishes, maintaining consistency and quality.
  • Manage a designated section of the kitchen (e.g., wok station, sushi, dim sum, grill, or cold kitchen).
  • Assist in menu development, especially for Pan Asian offerings.
  • Monitor and manage mise-en-place for daily service.
  • Ensure that food is prepared in accordance with the established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in your section and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
  • Train and supervise commis chefs and junior staff in your section.
  • Coordinate with other sections to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Control food wastage, manage stock rotation, and contribute to inventory management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (3–5 years) as a CDP or Demi CDP in Pan Asian cuisine.
  • Strong knowledge of regional Asian cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure kitchen environments while maintaining high-quality output.
  • Culinary certification or diploma from a recognized hospitality institute.
  • Good communication and team leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety protocols.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in luxury hotels, fine-dining restaurants, or high-end Asian kitchens.
  • Knowledge of sushi preparation, wok cooking, or dim sum is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to live kitchen setups or open kitchen concepts.
  • Ability to innovate and bring modern twists to traditional dishes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
