Role Description

· Develop ocean and air freight business by actively engaging with overseas agents and partners.

·  Act as a single point of contact for assigned five international countries.

·  Daily interaction with overseas agents via calls, emails, WhatsApp, and Skype to explore and generate new business opportunities.

·  Coordinate with internal pricing team to share and manage enquiries effectively.

·  Identify and secure new business by leveraging rate and market information to drive growth.

· Promote Bharat Logistics' services across international freight forwarding markets.

· Maintain daily reports including call reports, development reports, and enquiry reports.

· Generate actionable plans to improve business development performance and outreach.

· Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with overseas agents and partners.

· Ensure smooth coordination with internal teams such as pricing, customer service, and operations.


Qualifications & Skills Required

· Graduate Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field

· 2 to 5 years of experience in Sales or Business Development in Freight Forwarding / Shipping / Logistics.

· Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.

· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.

· Language Requirements: Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

· Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of CargoWise is a plus.

· Ability to interact across various departments like Pricing, Customer Service, Operations, and Documentation.

  • · Must provide daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports on sales efforts.


Working Hours & Schedule

🕒 Timings: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM

📆 Weekends: 2nd & 4th Saturdays Off | Other Saturdays Half Day
