Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Ocean Exports Pricing Manager located in Chennai. The Ocean Exports Pricing Manager will be responsible for managing and updating ocean export rates, coordinating with carriers and vendors to negotiate pricing, and ensuring competitive rates for clients. The role also includes preparing and analyzing pricing reports, handling client inquiries, and working closely with the sales and operations teams to provide accurate quotations. Qualifications Experience in managing and negotiating ocean export rates Strong analytical and reporting skills Excellent communication and coordination abilities Proficiency with relevant software and tools for pricing and logistics Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with customs regulations and compliance is a plus Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Role Description · Develop ocean and air freight business by actively engaging with overseas agents and partners. · Act as a single point of contact for assigned five international countries. · Daily interaction with overseas agents via calls, emails, WhatsApp, and Skype to explore and generate new business opportunities. · Coordinate with internal pricing team to share and manage enquiries effectively. · Identify and secure new business by leveraging rate and market information to drive growth. · Promote Bharat Logistics' services across international freight forwarding markets. · Maintain daily reports including call reports, development reports, and enquiry reports. · Generate actionable plans to improve business development performance and outreach. · Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with overseas agents and partners. · Ensure smooth coordination with internal teams such as pricing, customer service, and operations. Qualifications & Skills Required · Graduate Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field · 2 to 5 years of experience in Sales or Business Development in Freight Forwarding / Shipping / Logistics. · Strong communication skills – both written and verbal. · Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and in a team. · Language Requirements: Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus. · Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of CargoWise is a plus. · Ability to interact across various departments like Pricing, Customer Service, Operations, and Documentation. · Must provide daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports on sales efforts. Working Hours & Schedule 🕒 Timings: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM 📆 Weekends: 2nd & 4th Saturdays Off | Other Saturdays Half Day
