Job Description

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Drive flight booking revenue through assigned sales channels by managing airline inventory, building partner relationships, and optimizing conversion rates across B2B, B2C, and corporate segments. 

  • Manage and grow flight booking portfolio in assigned channel (B2B/B2C/Corporate) 
  • Drive flight bookings and revenue by optimizing airline partnerships and inventory 
  • Onboard new travel agents/corporate clients for flight bookings on Soctrip 
  • Maintain regular communication with airlines/partners to ensure performance targets 
  • Implement airline pricing and promotional strategies in the market 
  • Track flight sales targets and provide monthly performance reports 
  • Ensure confidentiality of seller information; take full responsibility for any damage caused to sellers/partners/users or Soctrip 
  • Do not use personal contact information (including phone numbers, email addresses, social media accounts, messaging apps, etc.) to communicate with sellers/partners/users. Only use company-approved contact details for sellers/partners/users communication and support during your employment with Soctrip and Hahalolo 

Channel Distribution

  • B2B Channel

    : Focus on travel agents, IATA/non-IATA agencies for flight bookings 
  • B2C Channel

    : Direct consumer flight sales through Soctrip platform 
  • Corporate/MICE

    : Corporate flight bookings and group travel management 

Requirements:

  1. Education

    : Bachelor's degree in any discipline 
  2. Experience

    : 2-5 years in airline sales/flight bookings 
  3. Certifications

    :  
  • IATA Certification mandatory for B2B positions

    (to handle IATA agents) 
  • IATA Certification mandatory for corporate positions

    (for complex bookings) 
  • IATA Certification preferred for B2C positions

  1. Technical Skills

    :  
  • Working knowledge of at least one GDS system 
  • Understanding of airline fare rules and booking classes 
  • Proficiency in flight search and booking processes 
  • Basic knowledge of visa and travel documentation

B2B Flight Sales:

  • Managing travel agent relationships 
  • GDS fare construction knowledge 
  • Bulk booking and group fare expertise 
  • Commission reconciliation skills 

B2C Flight Sales:

  • Consumer behavior understanding 
  • Conversion rate optimization 
  • Online booking platform expertise 
  • Customer query resolution 

Corporate Flight Sales:

  • Corporate travel policy understanding 
  • Business travel booking patterns 
  • Group booking management 
  • Corporate fare negotiation

Performance Metrics:

  • Monthly flight booking targets: 75L-1Cr per account manager 
  • Number of active partners/accounts 
  • Booking conversion rates 
  • Average ticket value growth
