Job Description

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Soctrip's Hotel vertical as P&L owner, responsible for building and scaling hotel inventory through direct partnerships, API integrations, and strategic growth to achieve $380M annual GMV while onboarding 20000+ hotel partners Act as the key liaison between airlines and internal flight teams 

  • Lead the entire OTA team and drive strategic direction for OTA growth 
  • Set performance targets, manage budgets, and oversee partner development and campaign success 
  • Develop and execute OTA sales and marketing strategy 
  • Manage high-level partnerships with OTA platforms 
  • Supervise all sub-teams: Sales, Admin, Campaign, and Support 
  • Analyze OTA performance reports and optimize KPIs 
  • Ensure confidentiality of seller information; take full responsibility for any damage caused to sellers/partners/users or Soctrip 
  • Do not use personal contact information (including phone numbers, email addresses, social media accounts, messaging apps, etc.) to communicate with sellers/partners/users. Only use company-approved contact details for sellers/partners/users communication and support during your employment with Soctrip and Hahalolo 

Requirements:

  • Education

    : Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field; MBA preferred 
  • Experience

    : 8-10 years in hotel/hospitality industry with 5+ years in OTA leadership 
  • Technical Skills

    :  
  1. Expert knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS) 
  2. Experience with channel managers and hotel APIs 
  3. Understanding of hotel revenue management and dynamic pricing 
  4. Knowledge of major hotel chains and independent property operations 

Key Competencies:

  • Proven track record of managing hotel inventory worth $200M+ annually 
  • Experience negotiating hotel contracts (10-25% commission structures) 
  • Successfully onboarded 500+ hotels in previous roles 
  • Understanding of hotel distribution channels and rate parity management 
  • Knowledge of global hotel markets and regional differences 

Performance Metrics:

  • Monthly GMV target: $31.7 million 
  • Hotel partner onboarding: 1500+ hotels/month 
  • Commission margin optimization: 15-20% average 
  • Inventory utilization rate: 70%+ 
  • Partner satisfaction score: 4.5+/5
