Job Summary

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with orthopedic issues.
• Perform surgical procedures related to bones, joints, and soft tissues.
• Diagnose fractures, injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions using diagnostic imaging.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for surgical and non-surgical interventions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and manage patient recovery post-surgery, ensuring optimal healing.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options, recovery, and home care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including clinical findings and treatment outcomes.
• Participate in hospital rounds and case discussions to enhance patient care.
• Stay updated on latest orthopedic practices, technologies, and advancements.
• Provide on-call services and handle emergencies as needed.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior medical staff and residents.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance surgical outcomes.
• Perform joint injections and other non-surgical treatments as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital protocols.
  

Qualifications

• MS in Orthopedic Surgery from a recognized institution.
• DNB in Orthopedics is highly preferred.
• Valid medical license to practice in India.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in orthopedic surgery.
• Strong knowledge of orthopedic diagnostics and treatments.
• Proficiency in performing complex orthopedic procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and clinical judgment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
• Experience in outpatient and inpatient surgical settings.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
