Job Description

As an Order Management Specialist at Cognex, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient processing and management of customer purchase orders to deliver the highest level of service to both internal and external customers in the India market. Your responsibilities will include: - Processing email Purchase Orders from end users through Salesforce and SAP - Retrieving orders from partner portal and processing them into SAP - Verifying pricing against customer contract or approved discount matrix - Ensuring product availability and coordinating with Purchasing for lead times - Prioritizing product allocations when supply is limited - Providing inside sales support by interfacing with various departments such as Customer Master Data, Credit, Purchasing, Logistics, and Sales - Processing customer returns and credit note requests promptly - Addressing customer inquiries regarding order status, product availability, and lead times - Troubleshooting and resolving customer issues in a timely manner - Reviewing backlog to ensure compliance with company booking policy for revenue recognition - Completing self-training modules in SAP as required - Logging customer complaints (CCARs) in SAP - Creating Salesforce cases to request additional addresses or contacts in SAP To excel in this role, you should possess: - High-energy and ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude - Customer-centric mindset - Strong time management skills for prioritizing tasks effectively - Initiative to resolve complex customer issues efficiently - Proactive and judgmental decision-making skills - Attention to detail - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills - Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably in ERP systems like SAP and Salesforce Qualifications: - BS/BA degree in business - Minimum of 4 years of experience in account management and customer service in a high-tech environment - Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of international trade principles Join Cognex's Global Shared Services Centre team in Noida, India, and be part of a dynamic and rewarding environment where your contributions are valued and recognized.,
