Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Optometrist based at the Pathankot facility. The Optometrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, which include performing routine eye examinations, diagnosing and managing eye conditions, prescribing corrective lenses, and offering guidance on eye health and preventative care. Collaboration with the broader medical team to ensure high standards of patient care and timely reporting is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in conducting eye examinations, identifying vision issues, and prescribing lenses or referral for further treatment.
• Experience in managing and identifying eye diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively counsel patients on eye care and treatment plans.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and technology proficiently, including OCT, slit lamps, and visual field analyzers.
• A Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Optometry and a valid license to practice as an Optometrist.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to patient care.
• Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
