urgent opening for an IT Support (L1/L2)

Role & responsibilities

Provide first and second level technical support for hardware, software, network, and IT systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues quickly within set timelines.

Escalate complex problems to higher-level teams and keep proper records.

Perform system updates, software installations, and basic network configurations.

Monitor IT systems to ensure they work smoothly and efficiently.

Create and maintain clear and accurate documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Develop and update a centralized Knowledge Base for IT support and user help.

Keep all IT documents up to date and easy to access.

Follow ISO 27001 standards to keep data secure and maintain compliance.

Help with audit preparation by providing necessary reports and documentation.

Identify risks and suggest ways to reduce them to meet security policies.

Work with different teams to solve IT problems.

Record how issues are resolved and update team members and users.

Participate in team meetings to discuss improvements and compliance.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience in L1 and L2 IT support roles.

Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and IT ticketing tools like ManageEngine or ServiceNow.

Basic understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi.

Familiarity with ITIL processes is a plus.

Ability to write clear SOPs and Knowledge Base articles.

Skilled in using documentation tools like MS Word and Confluence.

Knowledge of ISO 27001:2022 standards is preferred.

Experience supporting audits and maintaining data security compliance.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Able to work both independently and with a team.
