Job Description

The Operations Manager plays a crucial role in managing the daily operations of the hotel located in Hyderabad. Your primary responsibility is to ensure a seamless guest experience and maintain high service standards by overseeing various departments such as housekeeping, front desk, food & beverage, and maintenance. By efficiently managing these departments, you contribute to the overall efficiency and profitability of the hotel. Your key responsibilities include overseeing and coordinating the work of department heads to uphold operational standards, providing exceptional guest service, and addressing guest complaints promptly. Additionally, you will supervise, motivate, and train hotel staff to enhance operational efficiency and service quality. Regular performance evaluations and feedback sessions will be conducted to improve team performance. Financial management is another crucial aspect of your role. You will monitor departmental budgets, analyze financial reports, and assist in achieving financial targets. Moreover, you will collaborate with senior management to develop and implement cost-saving strategies across all departments. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including fire safety, food safety, and cleanliness standards, is imperative to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. As an Operations Manager, you will work closely with senior management to devise operational strategies that drive revenue and enhance guest satisfaction. By continuously reviewing and improving operational processes, you contribute to the overall efficiency of the hotel. Effective communication with all departments, regular reporting on operational performance, and participation in management meetings are essential to ensure alignment and continuous improvement. To excel in this role, you should possess proven experience in hotel management or a similar operations role in the hospitality industry, strong leadership and team management skills, and excellent communication and customer service skills. A solid understanding of hotel operations, proficiency in hotel management software, and knowledge of health and safety regulations are essential. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Certification in hotel management or operations would be advantageous. The job type is full-time and permanent, with benefits including health insurance and Provident Fund, and a fixed shift schedule.
