Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Retail Operations Manager to oversee our 5-store supermarket/hypermarket chain in Ernakulam and drive operational excellence during our expansion phase. You will be the key leader ensuring smooth operations across 350+ staff while maintaining our high standards of customer service and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Multi-Store Operations Management:

• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all stores
• Implement standardized processes for inventory, staffing, and customer service
• Conduct regular store visits (field-based role)

✔ Cost & Efficiency Optimization:

• Reduce operational waste and shrinkage
• Optimize labor scheduling to improve productivity
• Monitor KPIs (sales, stock levels, customer satisfaction)

✔ Team Leadership & Training:

• Manage and mentor store managers & staff
• Develop training programs to enhance service quality
• Ensure compliance with company policies

✔ Expansion Support:

• Assist in setting up new stores (processes, staffing, logistics)
• Work closely with senior management on growth strategies

Requirements:

✅ Experience:

• 8+ years in FMCG/retail operations (supermarket/hypermarket background preferred)
• Proven track record in multi-store management
• Strong understanding of retail best practices & cost control

✅ Skills:

• Leadership & team management (350+ employees)
• Problem-solving & decision-making
• Data-driven approach (basic Excel/analytics)

✅ Other:

• Field-based role (daily travel across Ernakulam stores)
• Flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹45,000.00 per month
