Job Purpose

The Operations Manager – Freight will oversee and manage freight forwarding operations, ensuring seamless coordination of shipments, compliance with regulations, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. The role involves supervising freight teams, optimizing freight processes, and liaising with clients and carriers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end freight forwarding operations including air, ocean, and land freight
• Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely shipments
• Monitor and resolve freight-related operational issues and delays
• Ensure compliance with all relevant international and local freight regulations
• Lead and supervise the freight operations team, providing training and guidance
• Prepare operational reports, analyze freight costs, and identify process improvements
• Maintain strong client relationships and address freight service concerns
• Work closely with sales and business development teams to support client requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
• Proven experience in freight forwarding operations management
• Strong knowledge of air, ocean, and land freight processes and regulations
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in logistics software and MS Office tools

Experience

• Relevant experience in freight forwarding operations management is preferred
• Both freshers with relevant educational background and experienced professionals may apply

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
