Job Description

Role Summary:

Trade Finance Operations Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all trade finance transactions are processed within agreed turnaround times (TATs).
Maintain and update trade finance records in the core banking and trade finance systems.
SWIFT messages knowledge for trade transactions (MT700, MT707, MT760, MT103, etc.).
Interact with correspondent banks, customers, and service providers regarding document discrepancies, payments, and amendments.
Prepare periodic reports on trade transactions, outstanding items, and operational metrics.
Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.

Qualifications:

. Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field

. 4+ years of experience in logistics or export companies can be an added advantage

. Experience with data entry, document handling, purchase order, and invoice processing

. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
