Job Description

Role Summary:

Trade Finance Operations Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all trade finance transactions are processed within agreed turnaround times (TATs).
  • Maintain and update trade finance records in the core banking and trade finance systems.
  • SWIFT messages knowledge for trade transactions (MT700, MT707, MT760, MT103, etc.).
  • Interact with correspondent banks, customers, and service providers regarding document discrepancies, payments, and amendments.
  • Prepare periodic reports on trade transactions, outstanding items, and operational metrics.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.

Qualifications:

. Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field

. 4+ years of experience in logistics or export companies can be an added advantage

. Experience with data entry, document handling, purchase order, and invoice processing

. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
