What you'll do:


  • Reconcile bank accounts – match synced transactions on QuickBooks and make sure every dollar is accounted for (even when the system doesn't quite cooperate)


  • Keep the books current – work on bank reconciliations, credit card statements, and payment matching so the founders can analyse the business instead of being buried in data and payment reconciliation


  • Bridge the software gap – export data from third-party software, format it in Excel, and import it into QuickBooks


  • Grow beyond the numbers – as you master the bookkeeping fundamentals and show curiosity, expand into broader operational domains like property management oversight, business operations support, or other areas that interest you across the multiple business entities


  • Communicate clearly – flag anything that doesn't make sense, ask questions when you're stuck, and keep the founders in the loop without constant hand-holding


Who we're looking for:


Someone with 1+ years of experience and solid bookkeeping fundamentals who has the following skills and traits:

  • Detail-obsessed:

    You can spot when a number is off by $10 in a batch of 50 transactions, and it actually bothers you until you find it


  • Excel comfortable:

    You know your way around spreadsheets – formatting data, copy-pasting intelligently, and making sense of exported reports


  • QuickBooks familiar:

    You've worked in QuickBooks before (ideally Enterprise, but any desktop version works) and understand basic bookkeeping concepts like invoice matching, bank reconciliation, and payment allocation


  • Self-directed worker:

    You can take a batch of transactions and figure out the inflow and outflow of payments, without needing someone to sit next to you


  • Honest communicator:

    You're not afraid to say "I don't understand this" or "This doesn't look right"


  • Relationship builder:

    You'll be working with the founders directly, and as you prove yourself through quality work and open communication, you'll naturally take on more ownership and responsibility in areas that matter to the business


Bonus points if you have:


  • QuickBooks class reporting experience – you understand how to use classes and subclasses to track profitability by property or unit


  • Property management or real estate background
