Job Description Summary The Operations management development program will provide you an opportunity to work in various departments within our organization such as production, supply chain, quality control, engineering etc. You will be exposed to different aspects of operations like planning, execution, quality assurance, maintenance, safety & health, training and development. This program will give you a good understanding of how to manage people and processes effectively.

Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day activities of assigned department/section including supervision of staff, scheduling of tasks, assigning of resources, monitoring progress against targets, resolving issues/problems arising out of operational challenges, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining records/reports related to operations, managing inventory levels etc.
  • Develop strategies for improving productivity by identifying areas where efficiency can be improved or costs reduced without compromising on quality standards.
  • Ensure timely completion of all projects undertaken by the department/section under your purview.
  • Provide guidance and support to subordinates regarding their career growth opportunities within the organization.
  • Maintain proper documentation related to all aspects of operations including but not limited to production records, financial reports, employee records, training materials, safety protocols etc.
  • Monitor performance metrics regularly to assess effectiveness of implemented measures and take corrective action wherever necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments/sections to achieve organizational goals.
  • Identify potential risks associated with operations and implement appropriate mitigation measures accordingly.
  • Implement lean manufacturing techniques to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the department/section under your supervision.

Qualification Required:
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production) or equivalent from recognized university
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Good interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook etc.
