Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

a) Accounting & Financial Reporting:

Handle day-to-day accounting functions, including journal entries, ledger reconciliation, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements) for multiple group entities.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
Prepare a monthly report of Financial Accounting and Compliances completed for management review.

b) Audit & Compliance:

Support statutory and internal audits by preparing and providing required documentation.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations, including timely and accurate return filings.
Assist in resolving audit queries and liaising with auditors.

c) Taxation & Regulatory Filings:

Assist in calculating and filing GST, TDS, and income tax returns for the group companies.
Maintain and reconcile tax accounts, ensuring timely payments.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and their implications.

d) Banking & Treasury:

Manage day-to-day banking operations, including fund transfers and reconciliations.

e) Process & System Improvements:

Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of ERP systems.
Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements to enhance financial control.

f) Intercompany Transactions:

Handle reconciliation and accounting of intercompany transactions.
Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations.

g) Others:

Assist and accompany Management with preparation, presentation with existing and prospective external stakeholders (Eg. Customers, Vendors, Bankers, External Auditors, Consultants etc.) in meetings at any locations in India or Outside India.
