JD :-
Seeking a dynamic Regional Head for BTL & Activation to drive brand activations, consumer engagement programs, and experiential marketing strategies. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end pitching, planning, execution, and performance tracking of regional BTL campaigns while hiring & Managing team of activation specialists. Additionally, the role will involve New Business Development and Client Servicing to expand and strengthen the company’s market presence.
Key Responsibilities :-
- Strategy & Planning :-
- Develop and execute BTL & activation strategies tailored to the regional market.
- Identify key consumer touchpoints and innovative engagement tactics.
- Align activations with brand objectives, ensuring maximum ROI.
- Campaign Execution & Management :-
- Oversee on-ground activations, promotions, roadshows, retail branding, and corporate events, shopper’s marketing, turn key projects and exhibitions.
- Manage vendor partnerships for fabrication, event setup, and logistics.
- Ensure flawless execution with a focus on quality, timelines, and cost-efficiency.
- New Business Development :-
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s regional footprint.
- Develop relationships with potential clients, brands, and corporate partners.
- Create and pitch BTL & activation solutions to prospective clients.
- Client Servicing & Relationship Management :-
- Manage and nurture existing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term engagement.
- Act as the key point of contact for clients, providing strategic insights and solutions.
- Work closely with the creative and execution teams to deliver tailored brand experiences.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration :-
- Lead and mentor a regional activation team (field teams, project managers, and vendors).
- Work closely with brand teams, creative agencies, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure seamless coordination between sales, marketing, and operations.
- Financial & Performance Management :-
- Develop and manage regional BTL budgets effectively.
- Track KPIs, consumer engagement metrics, and campaign effectiveness.
- Provide post-campaign reports, insights, and recommendations.
- Market Insights & Innovation :-
- Stay updated with industry trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activations.
- Explore new formats, technology-driven activations (AR/VR, digital integration), and partnerships.
Key Requirements :-
- Experience in BTL, experiential marketing, activations, or event management.
- Regional Exposure: Experience managing multi-city or regional BTL campaigns.
- Industry Network: Strong relationships with vendors, event agencies, and brand partners.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive high-impact activations.
- Tech & Digital: Understanding of digital integrations in BTL (social media amplification, QR activations, etc.).
- Budget Management: Hands-on experience in planning and tracking campaign spends.
- Flexibility: Willing to travel extensively for on-ground activations.
- New Business Development: Proven track record in identifying and converting new business opportunities.
- Client Servicing: Strong skills in account management and customer relationship building.
Preferred Background :-
- Candidates from BTL agencies, event marketing firms, media agencies, or FMCG/automobile brands with strong activation experience.
- Prior experience working with retail, telecom, consumer electronics, fintech, automotive, or beverage brands is a plus.
