The media planner has to take the onus of the complete plan and see it to the logical end. The person should always be alert & manage the situations in given timelines. It's a desk job.
To understand the Pune market geography and inventory of media.
To understand the client brief and prepare an outdoor media plan accordingly. Sending plans in given timelines is important.
To have complete control over Plan details like quality of photographs used, rates negotiated for traded inventory, correct availability, etc.
Repeated & timely communication with clients, vendors, colleagues is the need for the job. All the changes in media plans shared must be well communicated.
To work with the operations/installation team to ensure timely & correct execution. Sharing execution photographs with the client is required.
Continuous study and updations in Media database/media planning software are needed. The planner will be responsible for the improvement in the quality of photographs of the media.
Update hoarding booking status daily. To maintain updated business sheets
To follow up for Contracts / Client POs. To issue Vendor POs.
