Job Title: Online Marketing Executive – GeM Portal Job Summary:We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Online Marketing Executive with hands-on experience managing products and sales activities on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The candidate will be responsible for product listing, bid management, catalog updates, and driving online business growth through the GeM platform. Key Responsibilities: GeM Portal ManagementCreate, update, and maintain product listings, pricing, and catalogues on the GeM portal. Monitor and respond to bids, reverse auctions, and queries posted by government buyers. Ensure product compliance with GeM guidelines, documentation, and category specifications. Upload required certificates, technical documents, and pricing sheets. Sales & MarketingIdentify potential government buyers and upcoming tender opportunities. Promote company products/services on GeM by optimizing listings and visibility. Collaborate with sales teams to submit competitive bids and follow up on order status. Track tender deadlines, eligibility criteria, and evaluate business feasibility. Coordination & DocumentationCoordinate with internal departments (sales, logistics, operations) for product availability and timely bid submission. Maintain proper documentation related to quotations, orders, and government communications. Ensure timely order processing, dispatch, and compliance with Buyer requirements. Reporting & AnalyticsMonitor sales performance on the GeM portal and prepare weekly/monthly reports. Track market trends and competitor pricing. Suggest improvements for product listings and bidding strategies. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience working on the GeM Portal (mandatory). Strong understanding of tendering, bidding, and online government procurement processes. Knowledge of product listing, catalog management, and documentation. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and basic digital marketing tools. Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills. Ability to work under deadlines and multitask efficiently. Preferred Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline (Commerce/Business/Admin preferred). Experience in e-commerce portals or government procurement platforms.
