Job Title: Wastewater Treatment O&M Manager (Multi-Site Operations) Department: Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Location: Coimbatore, with travel across multiple project sites Company: EGT Eco Green Tech Pvt Ltd Reports To: General Manager – Operations / Director – Projects Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned O&M Manager – Wastewater Treatment to oversee the operations, maintenance, and performance of multiple wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) sites. The candidate will be responsible for managing site teams, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, maintaining plant uptime, and optimizing operations across all assigned sites. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations of multiple wastewater treatment plants across different locations. Plan and implement preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance schedules. Monitor plant performance (flow, BOD/COD, TSS, pH, etc.) and ensure treated water meets statutory and contractual norms. Lead and guide site engineers, supervisors, and technicians for smooth O&M operations. Implement safety, quality, and process control procedures across all sites. Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal departments for project coordination and issue resolution. Ensure adequate spares, chemicals, consumables, and workforce availability at all locations. Conduct regular audits, inspections, and reporting for all sites. Provide training and skill development for site staff. Maintain documentation and regulatory compliance (CPCB/SPCB norms, logbooks, statutory records). Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and energy-saving initiatives. Required Qualifications & Skills: Education: Diploma/Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant field. Experience: Minimum 7+ years in wastewater treatment plant O&M, with 3+ years in a multi-site managerial role . Strong understanding of STP/ETP/MBR/MBBR/SBR/RO technologies. Proficient in O&M planning, manpower management, and statutory compliance. Good communication and leadership skills. Willingness to travel frequently between sites. Preferred Skills: Experience in handling industrial wastewater treatment is a plus. Exposure to SCADA/BMS-controlled plants. Knowledge of ISO 14001 & EHS standards. Familiarity with NOC, consent renewals, and pollution board liaison.
