Officer/Assistant Officer Communication & Media
- Applicant should have a Post Graduate degree with First class in Media/Journalism / Mass Communication / English Literature / Branding / Marketing Management or any other similar & relevant specialization from a reputed Institute.
- At least 08 to 10 years of relevant experience in media management /marketing and branding/ communication/ journalism/ PR or related field.
- Experience at IIMs/IITs/NITs or any other premier Institution or Media house is desirable.
Job Profile:

01. Content Creation:
Creating engaging and relevant content for various platforms, including the institute s website, annual report, social media channels, newsletters, information brochures, different media collaterals, advertisements and press releases. Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, grammar, spelling, and consistency. Collaborate with various teams to create content for a wide range of marketing materials across different channels. Ensure that content is SEO-friendly and optimized for search engines to improve online visibility. Content input for different messages & speeches for dignitaries. -
02. Branding & Communication Strategy:
Supporting senior management for devising a comprehensive branding & communication strategy in alignment with the institute s goals and objectives. Create the visibility of the Institute with consistent brand communication. -

Media Relations:
Nurture relationships with local as well as national media representatives. Act as the institute s representative to engage with the media, arranging press conferences, prepare and circulate press releases. -
04. Social Media Management
: Develop and manage social media campaigns to increase the institute s online presence and engagement. Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize content strategies. -
05. Publications:
Supervise the creation of print and digital publications, such as brochures, annual reports, conference material, social media feeds and magazines ensuring that these materials adhere to brand guidelines. -
06. Event Promotion & Coverage:
Coordinate the promotion of institute events, including seminars, workshops, conferences to maximize attendance and participation. -
07. Courses Promotions:
To work in close coordination with relevant stakeholders to advertise & promote different programmes offered by the Institute using different marketing strategies and media platforms. -
08. Team Management
: Lead a team of communication professionals, including graphic designers, social media specialists. Coordinate with different students clubs ensuring quality and consistency of brand image. Empanelment of external agencies for outsourced activities as & when required, coordination & monitoring. -
09. Budget Management
: Manage the communication and media budget efficiently, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness in all initiatives. -
10. Analytics and Reporting:
Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of communication strategies and media outreach efforts. Provide regular reports and recommendations for improvement. -

Stakeholder Engagement
: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, alumni & different affiliations of the Institute to identify opportunities for communication and media initiatives that support the institute s objectives.
