Officer - Quality Control

As a Quality Control Officer at FMC, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all products meet the laydown quality specification. This will involve conducting tests, analyzing results, and documenting quality data. You will work closely with production teams to identify issues and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on experience of handling HPLC, GC, and other instruments and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively assess and inspect incoming raw materials, in-process items, and finished products as per specifications. - Perform regular quality assessments and provide testing evaluations based on specifications and standards to maintain safety and quality standards. - Assist in the development, implementation, and improvement of quality control procedures. - Ensure documentation and records comply with internal standards and external regulations such as ISO. - Interface with cross-functional disciplines and resources like the PD Lab, Technical Services, and Manufacturing. Qualifications Required: - M.Sc. in organic chemistry or analytical chemistry with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant laboratory experience in agrochemicals/chemical industries. - Proficiency in MS Office and QC data management software/tools. - Good verbal and written communication, presentation, documentation, and reporting skills. - Ability to work as a part of a team and collaborate effectively with others. - Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
