Office Boy – Job Description Position Overview An Office Boy provides essential support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of an office. The role includes basic administrative tasks, housekeeping duties, and assisting staff with routine activities. Key Responsibilities Office Maintenance & Cleanliness Keep the office, pantry, and meeting rooms clean and well-organized. Dust, sweep, mop, and maintain restrooms regularly. Ensure all office areas remain tidy throughout the day. Refreshment Services Manage pantry supplies and inform the administration when restocking is needed. Administrative Support Assist with photocopying, scanning, printing, and filing documents. Collect and distribute documents, mail, and couriers. Help with preparing meeting rooms before and after meetings. Errands & Support Tasks Deliver documents to other departments or external offices when required. Purchase small office supplies or items as directed. Assist in arranging office events or activities. General Assistance Support staff and management with routine tasks. Report any maintenance issues (e.g., broken equipment, plumbing problems). Follow company policies and maintain a courteous attitude. Qualifications & Skills High school education (preferred but not always required) Basic knowledge of cleaning and office-support tasks Good communication and interpersonal skills Reliability and punctuality Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality Honest, polite, and professionally presentable
