Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
  • Monitor patient care activities and outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and administrative staff, to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services.
  • Conduct regular rounds to assess patient needs, address concerns, and provide feedback to nursing staff.
  • Participate in the recruitment, orientation, and training of new nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
  • Evaluate nursing staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of nursing activities, including patient records, staffing schedules, and incident reports.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Serve as a resource for nursing staff, answering questions, providing guidance, and resolving issues as they arise.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • GNM or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Karnataka (KNC) is a must
  • Minimum of 10 years of nursing experience, with 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Must be able to do Rotational Shifts
  • Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in oncology nursing preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and computer applications.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and quality improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
