The role involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care in accordance with established hospital policies and nursing standards. Key Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care based on individual patient needs and established protocols. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions. Assist in medical procedures and emergency care when necessary. Maintain accurate patient records, charts, and documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for effective patient care. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, health maintenance, and disease prevention. Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control policies. Adhere to ethical and professional nursing standards at all times. Participate in regular training and development programs. Report incidents, accidents, or deviations in care promptly to supervisors. Qualifications:Diploma or Degree in Nursing (GNM / B.Sc. Nursing) Valid Nursing Council Registration (State or National as applicable) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred Experience:Minimum 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (Freshers may be considered based on requirement) Skills and Competencies:Strong clinical and critical thinking skills Good communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work under pressure and in a team Compassionate and patient-focused approach Proficient in electronic medical record systems (if applicable) Work Conditions:Shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays Exposure to biological and chemical hazards Physically demanding – standing for long periods, lifting patients
