NQAS Expert – Healthcare Quality | Jharkhand

Role Description

HSC, AAM/AAH, PHC, CHC, Sub-District Hospital, and District Hospital

Key Responsibilities

• Develop the

  end-to-end NQAS implementation system

  for the organization (framework, SOPs, process flow, documentation library).
• Conduct

  gap assessments

  at HSC, AAM, PHC, CHC and District Hospitals as per NQAS standards.
• Prepare and guide facilities through

  internal assessments, scoring, action plans, and mock audits

  .
• Train staff on

  quality standards, indicators, registers, documentation, infection control, and service protocols

  .
• Lead the preparation for

  State & National level external certification audits

  .
• Coordinate with

  state health departments, district officials, and NHM leadership

  .
• Monitor progress through

  KPIs, dashboards, quality checklists, and compliance trackers

  .
• Prepare all mandatory

  SOPs, formats, checklists, QMS documents, standard registers, and monitoring templates

  .
• Drive ongoing quality improvement and help facilities reach

  NQAS certification readiness

  .
• Provide expert advisory on

  clinical protocols, patient-safety systems, biomedical equipment readiness, and facility management

  .

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum

  5 years of direct experience

  implementing NQAS in government health facilities.
• Must have handled

  NQAS certification cycles

  (internal + external).
• Strong working knowledge of:
• NQAS standards for PHC/CHC/DH
• Checklists, scoring, and rating methodology
• NABH (optional but preferred)
• Infection Prevention & Control (IPC)
• Clinical protocols and service delivery standards
• Ability to design SOPs, documentation processes, training modules, and audit tools.
• Demonstrated coordination experience with

  NHM, DHS, CMO/CS office, State QA Cell

  .
• Strong communication, reporting, analytics, and leadership skills.
