NPD Engineer

Senior NPD Engineer (Moulding & Furniture)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior NPD Engineer to drive innovation in our moulding and furniture product lines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in product development, material science (plastics and sheet metal), and manufacturing processes relevant to our industry. This role is crucial for developing cutting-edge products from concept to launch.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full product development lifecycle for new moulding and furniture products.
• Conduct feasibility studies, material selection, and design optimization.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure seamless product launch.
• Implement DFM/DFA principles and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and technical documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in NPD within the moulding, plastics, or furniture manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and FEA tools.
• Strong understanding of injection moulding, extrusion, woodworking, and assembly processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
