Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Specialist

Key Responsibilities-

• Perform advanced NDT inspections using

  Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Electromagnetic Acoustic Transducer (EMAT), and Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT)

  methods.
• Develop, validate, and optimize inspection procedures for diverse materials and component geometries.
• Collect and analyse inspection data, applying

  signal processing and data interpretation techniques

  to ensure reliable defect characterization.
• Collaborate with engineering and software teams to integrate inspection data into digital platforms and automated inspection systems.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, clearly communicating inspection findings and recommendations.
• Support training, knowledge-sharing, and technology adoption across the organization.

Desired Skills and Experience-

• Proven experience in NDT methods including UT, EMAT, and PAUT.
• Strong understanding of wave propagation, defect sizing, and flaw characterization principles.
• Experience with

  signal processing, data visualization, and analysis tools

  .
• Familiarity with software applications relevant to NDT data acquisition and interpretation (e.g., CIVA, MATLAB, Python-based tools, or similar).
• Ability to work with both manual and automated testing systems, including integration with advanced instrumentation.
• Certification in UT/PAUT preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and provide innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and technical report writing skills.
