About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Node.js/NestJS Developer to join our in-house engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing scalable backend services, API integrations, and microservice-based architectures. You will play a key role in designing and delivering secure, high-performance server-side solutions that support our growing product and client needs. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js and NestJS.
• Build and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Debug and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring smooth system performance.
• Implement security and data protection best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Node.js and NestJS.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and GraphQL.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and API gateway concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• DevOps Knowledge: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Swagger for API documentation and creating stakeholder documents
• Experience with API authentication and security best practice.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools

Nice to have Skills

• Cloud Platform Experience: Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure for deploying and managing backend services.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with Docker, Docker Compose, and basic understanding of Kubernetes for managing microservices in production.
• Messaging & Queues: Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Redis Pub/Sub for building event-driven architectures.
