About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer who has strong backend development expertise and is passionate about building high-performing, scalable, and secure web applications. The ideal candidate should be confident in designing APIs, managing databases, and writing clean, testable code while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript.
• Design and build RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend and third-party services.
• Implement unit testing (Jest) to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Work with MySQL and MongoDB for database design, queries, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
• Write clean, reusable, and scalable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers when required.
• Ensure security and data protection implementation.
• Contribute to improving development processes and workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of proven experience as a Node.js Developer.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in MySQL (schemas, queries, joins, stored procedures) and MongoDB (document modeling, indexing, aggregation).
• Solid experience with unit testing frameworks (Jest or similar).
• Good understanding of asynchronous programming, design patterns, and error handling.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
