NodeJs Backend Developer

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our marketing technology applications. Your expertise in Node.js and related technologies will be crucial in enhancing the scalability, performance, and functionality of our software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to understand requirements and develop solutions. Your role will involve designing and implementing server-side architecture using Node.js, Nest.js, and Express.js to ensure high performance and responsiveness. Developing RESTful APIs and integrating them with frontend elements built by UI/UX designers will also be part of your responsibilities. You will be expected to build efficient, reusable, and reliable code following best practices and coding standards. Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks, troubleshooting issues, and improving application performance will be key tasks. Implementing security and data protection measures in the applications, working on both front-end and back-end aspects of the applications as needed, and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance our development process and product offerings are also important aspects of the role. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Node.js development. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. - Experience with server-side frameworks such as Nest.js and Express.js. - Familiarity with database systems such as MongoDB is mandatory, and knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL is a plus. - Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs. - Proficient understanding of version control tools, preferably Git. - Knowledge of basic front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, React, Angular, etc.) and their integration with Node.js applications is a plus. - Understanding of asynchronous programming and its challenges. - Ability to write clean, well-documented, and reusable code. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule. The work schedule is day shift, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in Node.js development.
