NodeJs Backend Developer

As a mid-level Node.js Developer with 3 years of hands-on experience in backend development, your role will involve building and maintaining backend services using Node.js and Express/NestJS. You will design and implement RESTful APIs, integrate them with frontend components, and manage and optimize database schemas and queries (MongoDB / MySQL / PostgreSQL). Writing unit and integration tests to ensure code quality, participating in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and Agile development cycles, and working with DevOps to deploy and monitor backend services will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will maintain documentation of services and data structures. Qualifications required for this role include a minimum of 3 years of experience in Node.js development, proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) with working knowledge of TypeScript, experience with backend frameworks like Express.js or NestJS, and good knowledge of NoSQL (MongoDB) or SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) databases. Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI, experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker), understanding of performance optimization and security best practices, and exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) would be beneficial.
