We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Node.js Backend Developer to join our team and help us build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Integrate databases, caching systems, and third-party services.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and designers to deliver end-to-end features.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and upgrade existing systems.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving team practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Express.js / NestJS or similar frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and design patterns.
• Good knowledge of databases (SQL – MySQL/PostgreSQL, and NoSQL – MongoDB/Redis).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
• Knowledge of authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth2, etc.).
• Strong understanding of unit testing & integration testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai).
• Ability to write efficient, reusable, and modular code.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good to Have (Optional Skills)

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 1+ years of proven backend development experience with Node.js.
