NodeJs Backend Developer

A CMMI Level 3 organization with office Salt Lake, Kolkata is looking for an experienced Node.js Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in building backend applications using Node.js, Express.js, and Prisma ORM. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, a solid understanding of database design, and the ability to build scalable, high-performance backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Node.js and Express.js.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work extensively with Prisma ORM for database schema design, migrations, and queries.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
• Integrate external APIs and third-party services.
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js.
• Strong proficiency in Express.js.
• Hands-on experience with Prisma ORM.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL / SQL Server).

Work Model:
