Job Title: Node.js Back-End Developer (Insurance API Integration) Location: Ahmedabad Experience: 2–5 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Node.js Back-End Developer with strong experience in insurance portal development and API integrations. The candidate will be responsible for building, integrating, and maintaining scalable backend systems for insurance products including Motor, Health, Life, and Corporate Insurance. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js (Express / NestJS) Integrate insurance company APIs for quotation, policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and claims Work on insurance portals, aggregator platforms, and CRM integrations Design and manage RESTful APIs and ensure secure data handling Handle third-party integrations (payment gateways, SMS, email, KYC, OTP) Optimize application performance, scalability, and security Collaborate with front-end, QA, and product teams Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing systems Maintain proper documentation for APIs and workflows Required Skills: Strong proficiency in Node.js & Express.js Experience with Insurance API integrations Knowledge of MongoDB / MySQL / PostgreSQL Understanding of authentication, authorization, and data security Experience with payment gateway integrations Familiarity with Git, Postman, Swagger Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) is a plus Preferred Skills: Experience in Motor, Health, Life, or Corporate Insurance domains Knowledge of policy lifecycle management systems
