Node js developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Node.js Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side components of web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and ensure data consistency and performance.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Implement security and data protection best practices.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including sprint planning and stand-ups.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Node.js Developer (2+ years recommended).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and knowledge of ES6+ features.
• Experience with Express.js or similar web frameworks.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
• Proficient in using version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Good understanding of security and data protection principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Chai).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
