Node js developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Node.js Developer to join our backend development team. As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for developing high-performance, scalable server-side applications and APIs. You will work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members to deliver seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
• Build and integrate RESTful or GraphQL APIs with various front-end and mobile platforms.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design new features.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Implement security and data protection best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in backend development.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or similar role.
• 4+years Experience.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, and backend development.
• Experience with Express.js or other Node.js frameworks.
• Proficiency in working with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
• Familiarity with API design, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and RESTful architecture.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of containerization (Docker) is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with GraphQL.
• Testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Chai.
• Agile/Scrum methodologies.
