Roles & Responsibilities:- 1. OSS/BSS Management Oversee uptime and performance of key OSS/BSS systems: OSS: Fault Management, Performance, Inventory, Provisioning, Activation BSS: Billing, CRM, Mediation, Charging, Order Management. Ensure proper data integration across northbound/southbound interfaces Collaborate with application and service delivery teams for end-to-end deployment. 2. Networking Operations Ensure availability and performance of routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers Configure and optimize routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, MPLS-TE) Oversee IP address planning, VLAN configurations, multicast, QoS policies Lead escalations for Layer 2/3 issues and ensure minimal service downtime 3. NOC Security Oversight Interface with OEMs and IT security teams to coordinate response to incidents Ensure compliance with firewall rules, access logs, and patch management Conduct periodic audits of firewall and security configurations 4. Incident, Change, and Problem Management Lead resolution of P1/P2 outages including OSS/BSS faults, major routing issues, and cyber incidents Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term corrective measures Manage change lifecycle to ensure safe and controlled deployment across live networks 5. Team Leadership Manage and mentor L2 NOC engineers, OSS/BSS admins, network engineers, and security staff Define shift rotations, escalation hierarchies, and on-call support structure Conduct training sessions and cross-domain skill development 6. Reporting, Governance & Compliance Publish dashboards: Network KPIs, OSS/BSS uptime, incident MTTR, threat alerts Participate in audits, RCA presentations, and vendor governance reviews Preferred candidate profile Technical Skills Required: Networking: Strong expertise in Layer 2/3 protocols, IP/MPLS networks and routing/switching OSS/BSS: Experience with OSS and BSS platforms Security: Hands-on with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint) Tools & Systems: Familiarity with NMS/EMS platforms, SNMP, Remedy/ServiceNow, monitoring tools
