Responsibilities

• On-Camera Presentation:

  Deliver news stories with clarity, confidence, and professionalism.

• Live & Recorded Reporting:

  Anchor live news segments and record pre-scripted news bulletins.

• Interviewing & Field Reporting:

  Conduct interviews with newsmakers, experts, and witnesses, both in-studio and on-location.

• Content Development:

  Research, script, and present engaging news content for video segments.

• Fact-Checking & Accuracy:

  Ensure all reports adhere to journalistic ethics and factual accuracy.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with editors, video producers, and fellow reporters to create compelling news packages.

• Multimedia & Digital Presence:

  Utilize social media and video platforms to amplify news reach and engagement.

• Trend Analysis:

  Stay updated with current affairs, emerging trends, and audience preferences.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong on-camera presence with excellent verbal communication skills.
• Passion for journalism and storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of journalistic ethics, media law, and fact-checking.
• Prior experience in news anchoring, reporting, or video journalism (preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with digital journalism, video editing, and social media reporting.
• Ability to conduct interviews and report from the field.
