News Analyst

As an Intelligence Solution Analyst, your role involves analyzing incoming data streams and monitoring events such as industrial fires, explosions, natural disasters, production stoppages, labor strikes, port closures, etc. that may affect supply chain resiliency. You will be responsible for reporting time-sensitive risk alerts derived from open source media and updating real-time reports efficiently. Additionally, applying your supply chain understanding and risk analysis to critical events will be crucial in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze incoming data streams for events impacting supply chain resiliency - Monitor events such as industrial fires, natural disasters, production stoppages, etc. - Report time-sensitive risk alerts based on information from open source media - Write, edit, and update real-time reports - Apply supply chain understanding and risk analysis to critical events Qualifications Required: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for the work environment - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with short turnaround times - Proficiency in the English language, with error-free writing skills - Ability to analyze news articles and extract important information - Strong listening skills and a consultative approach to issue resolution - Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, etc.) - Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.
