News Analyst

As an Intelligence Solution Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing incoming data streams to monitor events such as industrial fires, explosions, natural disasters, production stoppages, labor strikes, port closures, etc., which have the potential to impact the resiliency of the global supply chain. Your role will involve reporting time-sensitive risk alerts based on information obtained from open source media and writing, editing, and updating real-time reports efficiently. Additionally, you will apply your supply chain understanding and risk analysis skills to critical events to ensure effective response strategies. To excel in this role, you must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for a dynamic work environment. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with short turnaround times is crucial. Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written, is essential, with a strong emphasis on error-free writing. You should have the capability to analyze news articles effectively and extract pertinent information. Furthermore, strong listening skills and a consultative approach to issue resolution will be key attributes for success in this position. Proficiency in MS Office Suite tools like Word and Outlook is required. A proactive, self-motivated attitude and a strong willingness to learn are highly valued traits. The ideal candidate for this role should have 1-3 years of relevant and focused experience. A graduate or post-graduate degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or Media Communication is preferred. This position is based in Koregaon Park, Pune, and requires you to work from the office. The work timings follow the India work shift, with workdays scheduled from Saturday through Wednesday. Please note that workdays are subject to modification at the manager's discretion.
