New Product Development Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILIES OF NPD MANAGER Review of Drawings, standards and other requirements for new development / existing parts Initial Feasibility review, include CFT for new type of product. Tech or Spec review meeting with customer. Study of drawing, standards and other requirements related to output, process, testing, and identifying special characteristics( Detailed feasibility Review 2D/ 3D of product, tools, jig, fixtures, gauges, pannel checkers etc. Issue and control of all drawings . Process sequence planning and finalization which includes making and freezing the process flow chart, process parameters and work instructions. Preparing APQP timing plan and co-ordination with customer and internal team for completion of APQP. Interacon, follow up and coordinaon with customer/ tool manufacturers/ BOP suppliers.QA/ Prod during new product development. Selection of appropriate process, inspection, testing & measuring equipments Interaction with tool makers during tool development All pre- developmental inspections ( tool, jig , fixtures, gauges, pannel checkers, BOP and JW part) Conduction of tool trials and keeping records of those trials Part inspections at various stages of development and keeping records of such inspections. Development related inspection and testing at outside agency end. Conduction of PFMEA and preliminary process capability study. Carry out various production trials along with Run at Rate in presence of Production , QA and customer representative to finalize PPAP documents Provide all necessary documents to concerned departments after R & R for product realization during SOP. Sample preparation at different stages of production and submission of samples to customers Prototype sample preparation ,if required Sample approval /validation at customer end Working on customer feedback on submitted samples and resubmission of samples to customers with necessary documents. Preparing and submission of PPAP documents to customers (Control plan, FMEA, PFD, OS,WI etc. ) ECR, & ECN related activities. FMEA revision and continual upgradation of FMEA by taking action on reduction of RPN number. Maintain all records of development as per the PPAP manual of IATF 16949 :2016 (AIAG Current Version) Making packing standards as per customer reqirments , getting it approved by customer and providing the same to despatch department. Do all activites related to initial flow management including IPC and IPP.
