New Product Development Manager

Role Overview: As the NPD Lead for the Daily wear Category in Mumbai, you will be responsible for driving new product development initiatives. Your main objective will be to collaborate with various stakeholders to meet targets related to new designs and business volume within the Daily wear category. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate with internal interfaces such as DEC, Merchandising, End Customers, Mount sources, Design Co-creation sources, In-house NPD/Downstream/Job work, Upstream & Stone Sorting, QA, and Planning & SCM. Qualifications Required: - Education: Degree/Diploma in any stream - Relevant Experience: Minimum 6-10 years of experience in Jewellery Product development - Behavioural Skills: Drive for Results, Self-Motivated, Agile & Customer Centric, Interpersonal/Influencing skills, Communication skills (written and verbal) - Knowledge: Exposure to Daily wear Studded Jewellery design trends, Market exposure to fast selling product categories, Product trend analysing/capitalizing Additional Details: The role will involve contributing to the following goals: 1. Value generation through saleable designs: - Aligning with Daily wear Category team requirements in terms of Designs and Variety of styles - Exploring Design co-creation sources across the globe - Generating order value in line with the Annual Business plan - Developing a number of new designs 2. Introducing Trendy designs: - Offering new designs with variety, capitalizing on their strength - Scouting for new design concepts and products in Domestic and International sources - Addition of New design sources - Achieving a 2/3rd Hit rate in designs 3. Fast Fashion/Diamond treats: - Quickly introducing new designs with a First mover advantage in design concepts - Working closely with the Jewellery eco-system to capitalize on trends well before the competition - Launching new design collections as per the timeline - Introducing a specific number of new collections,
