Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and tech-driven Network Trainee to join our IT infrastructure team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates who want to build a strong foundation in networking, system support, and IT operations. You will work under senior engineers and gain hands-on exposure to network configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, access points).
• Support daily monitoring of network performance and report any issues or bottlenecks.
• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity problems and escalate as needed.
• Help manage network cables, patch panels, and hardware components.
• Document network activities, updates, and incident resolutions.
• Assist users with basic network access, Wi-Fi issues, or connectivity setups.
• Coordinate with IT and infrastructure teams during upgrades or deployments.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN).
• Familiarity with routers, switches, and firewalls (academic or practical exposure).
• Strong problem-solving attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions carefully.

Eligibility

• Diploma/Graduate in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
• Candidates with CCNA or similar certifications (completed/pursuing) will be preferred.
• Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience.
