Network Trainee

Job Description: As a Network Trainee at Softtrix in Mohali, Punjab, you will be a part of the IT/Network Operations department on a full-time on-site basis, with a training stipend provided. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure to live projects to develop a strong foundation in networking and IT infrastructure. Your role involves assisting in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of LAN/WAN networks, supporting the management of firewalls and security devices, monitoring network performance, troubleshooting basic issues, implementing security protocols, and documenting network configurations and procedures. Collaboration with IT and infrastructure teams is essential for ongoing network operations. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of LAN/WAN networks. - Support the management of firewalls and security devices. - Monitor network performance and troubleshoot basic issues. - Implement security protocols and document network configurations and procedures. - Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams for ongoing network operations. Qualifications Required: - Degree in B.Tech/BCA/MCA/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - 1 year of experience preferred but freshers are also encouraged to apply. - Basic understanding of network setup and hardware configuration. - Familiarity with firewalls, routers, and related security tools. - Knowledge of network security protocols. - Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities. - Willingness to learn in a professional IT environment.,
