Network Specialist

As a Network Automation Engineer with expertise in GoLang, NSO, and network automation, your role will involve designing, developing, and implementing network automation solutions. You will work with tools such as GoLang, Ansible, and NSO to streamline network configuration and management. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing network automation solutions using GoLang, Ansible, and NSO. - Designing and implementing automation frameworks for network configuration and management. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to automate network testing and validation. - Working closely with network engineers to develop automation scripts and tools. - Troubleshooting and resolving network automation issues. To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications: - Advanced Unix/Linux skills. - Proficiency in GoLang, Ansible, REST. - Knowledge of data structures such as YANG, XML, JSON. - Familiarity with networking protocols like TCP/IP, ISIS, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, L2VPN, L3VPN, EVPN. - Experience with virtualization technologies like ESXi, vCenter, VMware vCenter. - Exposure to containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes. - Familiarity with DevOps tools such as GIT, Jenkins, Sonar Cube, JIRA, Rally, Artifactory. - Hands-on experience with network automation frameworks and testing tools. Desired skills for this role include: - Expertise in Segment Routing and Traffic Engineering. - Knowledge of Cisco Network Services Orchestrator (NSO). - Experience in deploying EMS applications. - Familiarity with third-party traffic generator/emulation tools. - Understanding of data models and Ansible. - Exposure to automation frameworks like Robot. - Certifications such as CCNA, vSphere IDP (VCP), and experience in performance and non-functional testing.
