Role: NOC Engineer Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week) Contract Duration: Long Term Work Hours: Sun - Wed 3 PM to 1 AM EST OR Sun - Thurs 5 PM to 1 AM EST Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri) Location: 100% Remote Core Responsibilities: Monitor network, application, and infrastructure alerts. Follow SOPs for incident response (e.g., site outages, service restarts). Manage incidents and tickets via ServiceNow. Provide customer-facing support via email, phone, and Slack. Participate in a rotating alert system and collaborate closely with team members. Technical Requirements: Strong troubleshooting skills in hybrid environments (cloud + on-prem). Linux proficiency (log navigation, basic commands, zipping files). Networking knowledge: ping tests, router access, Cisco firewalls. Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS acceptable).
