Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage configuration and maintenance of production network hardware/software — routers, switches, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, and Wi-Fi access points.
  • Perform incident, problem, change, and access management; ensure uptime, patching, and performance monitoring.
  • Handle Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers, Cisco Prime, and Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
  • Maintain software versions, firmware, certificates, and backups across devices.
  • Conduct periodic audits, risk analysis, RCA preparation, and ensure continual service improvement.
  • Manage team and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders for smooth network operations.
  • Create and maintain network documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Device configuration & backup management
  • WLAN tuning and firmware upgrades
  • Cisco Catalyst switches, ASR/ISR routers
  • Routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
  • MPLS, QoS, Multicasting, and IP schema
  • Network performance, availability, and capacity reporting

Good-to-Have:

  • Working knowledge of Cisco ISE and Mobility Service Engine (MSE)

Qualification:

  • B.Tech/BE or equivalent; Master’s in IT preferred
  • Certifications: CCNP Enterprise / CCNA-Wireless / CCNP-Wireless preferred

Other Details:

  • 24x7 support environment (on-call for major changes)
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco tools and ticketing systems
