Network Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer with expertise in LAN & WLAN configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco and Palo Alto network devices and will play a key role in ensuring our enterprise network infrastructure is secure, scalable, and high-performing. Key Responsibilities: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN and WLAN infrastructure including switches, routers, access points, and firewalls. Manage and monitor network performance, availability, and security across multiple sites. Deploy, configure, and administer Cisco switches, routers, and wireless controllers. Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls , including security policies, NAT, VPN, and threat prevention features. Troubleshoot complex network issues involving connectivity, performance, and security. Implement and manage VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and network segmentation. Ensure network documentation is up-to-date and compliant with organizational standards. Work with cross-functional teams for infrastructure upgrades, expansions, and incident resolution. Conduct regular network assessments and recommend improvements for performance and reliability. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3–5+ years of experience in a network engineering role. Strong experience with Cisco networking equipment (CCNA/CCNP certification preferred). Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls (PCNSA/PCNSE certification is a plus). In-depth understanding of LAN/WLAN architectures , including wireless access points and controllers. Proficient in network troubleshooting tools and techniques (Wireshark, ping, traceroute, etc.). Strong knowledge of TCP/IP , DHCP , DNS , NAT , VPN , and firewall technologies . Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
